Nice place to be, mainly jewelry and watch shops. On either end of the bridge theres a cool vibe with stores and caffes.

The Ponte Vecchio is the oldest bridge in Florence and crosses the Arno at its widest point. It dates back to Roman times and has been re-built on several occasions.

It is a Medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge, noted for still having shops built along it. Butchers initially occupied the shops; the present tenants are jewellers and art dealers.

It's a must see, You can feel themedieval times still lives in that bridge. The gold stores still use the same door systems to close for the day,It is amazing to see the new meeting the old.

Very nice view. Real enjoyable moment to go over there and walk around at the bridge. You can see all the gold stores and how they still have the old doors when they close for the day.

This bridge is unique. It was built so many years ago. Nice to walk here!
